There was a time when wrestling was all about size and power, the giants were the main attraction of this industry, fans were always interested to know who is the tallest WWE wrestler in history. But now the scenario has been changed, fans are much more focused on good matches and good storylines. 

It has become now the trend to overhype the actual real height of the giant wrestlers by adding 3-4 inches extra in the billed height. In addition to this, the camera work is set in such a way that these giants look even larger.

Difference between Billed Height and Real Height

The real height is the actual height of the athlete from his barefoot to head however the billed height is the total height of the character that the wrestler is playing wearing the wrestling attire including boots which definitely add some inches to their actual heights.

Tallest WWE Wrestler in History

Kurrgan – 2.10m

A Canadian professional wrestler and an actor Kurrgan joined WWF in 1997 and took his retirement from wrestling in 1999 to become an actor. 

The billed height of Kurrgan was 7’ (seven feet) but the real height of Kurrgan was 6’8’’ (six feet and 8 inches) or 2.10m.

Eli Cottonwood – 2.13m

An American professional wrestler and former basketball player Eli Cottonwood debuted in WWE NXT on 8th June 2010 along with his storyline mentor John Morrison. 

WWE billed Eli Cottonwood height as 7’ (seven feet) however the actual real height of Eli Cottonwood was 6’11’’ (six feet and eleven inches) or 2.13m.

Big Show – 2.13m

An American professional wrestler and actor Big show joined WCW in 1995. Initially, WCW introduced Big Show as the son of Andre the Giant with the ring name ‘The Giant’. 

Big Show was billed with a height of 7’ (seven feet) however the real height of Big show is 6’11’’ ( six feet and eleven inches) or 2.13m.

Dilsher Shanky billed height is 7’1’’ (seven feet and one inch) and the real height of Dilsher Shanky is also 7’1’’ (seven feet and one inch) or 2.16m.

The Great Khali – 2.16m

An Indian professional wrestler and wrestling promoter The Great Khali joined WWE on 2nd January 2006 and was the first Indian wrestler to join WWE. He was massive destruction in the initial days but later WWE just presented him as a Giant comedian wrestler. He was suffering from the hormone disorder disease called acromegaly due to which he got his massive height.

The Great Khali was billed with the height of 7‘3’’ (seven feet and three inches) however the real height of The Great Khali was 7’1’’ (seven feet and one inch)  or 2.16m, which makes him the first-ever Indian wrestler on the list of tallest WWE wrestler in the history.

A French professional wrestler and actor Andre The Giant joined WWF on 24th March 1973. He was the largest athlete of his time in WWF and because of it, he became popular very soon.

The Billed of Andre The Giant in WWF was 7’4’’ (seven feet and four inches) however the real height of Andre the Giant was three inches lesser, which is 7’1’’ (seven feet and one inch)  or 2.16m.

Giant Zanjeer – 2.19m

An Indian professional wrestler and an actor Giant Zanjeer joined WWE along with another Indian wrestler Dilsher Shanky on 20th January 2020 through WWE tryout. He was once featured on television in WWE special event Superstar Spectacle on 26th January 2021 in a six-man tag team match alongside Rey Mysterio, Ricochet  & Dilsher Shanky, Giant Zanjeer against  Dolf Ziggler, Baron Corbin, Cesaro & Nakamura.

A Brazilian professional wrestler and Basketball player Giant Silva joined WWF in 1997. Due to his massive size, he was not able to wrestle continuously for a long duration of time, and mostly he was booked in tag team matches.

The Billed height of Giant Silva is 7’2’’ (seven feet and two inches) and the real height of Giant Silva was also 7’2’’ (seven feet and two inches) or 2.19m.

Omos – 2.21m

A Nigerian American professional wrestler and basketball player Omos was signed with WWE on 1st January 2019. Currently, he is the tallest superstar in the WWE in 2021. He gained his popularity as a friend cum bodyguard for AJ Styles in a WWE storyline.

The billed height of Omos is 7’3’’ (seven feet and three inches) and the real height of Omos is also the same 7’3’’ (seven feet and three inches) or 2.21m, which makes him on number third in the list of tallest WWE wrestler in the history.

Trapper John – 2.26m

An American professional wrestler and actor Trapper John made his WWE debut in 1996. Most of the WWE fans may not remember him because he was only for one month on WWE television and most of his matches were dark matches.

The billed height of Trapper John was 7’8’’ (seven feet and eight inches) and the real height of Trapper John was 7’4’’ ( seven feet and four inches) or 2.26m.

Jorge Gonzalez – 2.35m
