For the year 2022 Wrestlemania 38 was held on the 2nd and 3rd of April at AT&T Stadium in Arlington near Dallas, Texas. This WWE pay-per-view is packed with many spectacular matches. Wrestlemania 2022 day 1 result
The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) (c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs (WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship)
This was the opening match for the Wrestlemania 38 night. The match had many high-flying awesome moments. The ending of the match seems abrupt after Rick Boogs suffered a knee injury when he was trying to lift both the Usos brothers on his shoulders.
Rick Boogs after injury went out of the ring and Shinsuke Nakamura was all alone facing the Usos. But the numbers game took the advantage and the Usos took a pinfall victory after delivering their version of a 3-D.

Drew McIntyre vs Happy Corbin (with Madcap Moss)
Finally, Happy Corbin after playing mind games for so long days with Drew McIntyre came face to face with him. McIntyre became the first-ever WWE superstar to kick out from Corbin’s finishing maneuver The End of days.
It was very impressive to see a big guy like Drew McIntyre flying outside through the top ropes. In the end, Drew McIntyre took a pinfall victory after delivering a Claymore kick on Happy Corbin. Madcap Moss tries to steal Drew’s moment by attacking him from behind but Drew swings his sword and Madcap quickly dodges it, and the sword strikes the ring ropes and cuts the top two ropes.

Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio vs The Miz and Logan Paul
It is very rare that Rey Mysterio’s opponent is getting more reaction than Rey Mysterio. Match had a good pace. The coordination between Rey and Dominik Mysterio was very impressive. But the heart whelming performance that was delivered by Logan Paul was really majestic.
The Miz and Logan Paul took a pinfall victory after Miz hits a skull-crushing finale on Rey Mysterio. Later while celebrating Miz hits a skull-crushing finale to his own partner Logan Paul also. Seems like The Miz doesn’t like to share his spotlight.
One more headline got viral when Logan Paul took his entrance wearing the most expensive pokemon card worth $6 Million along with his yellow black attire.

Becky Lynch (c) vs Bianca Belair (Raw women’s championship)
Both the divas took a grand entrance toward the ring. The match had many close counts and nearby submissions. Both the divas were heading toe to toe but in the end, Bianca Belair got the upper hand and got a pinfall victory after hitting a KOD to become the new Raw women’s champion.

Cody Rhodes vs Seth “Freakin” Rollins
As promised by Vince McMahon, Vince McMohan will find an opponent for Seth Rollins for Wrestlemania 38. Seth took his entrance and patiently waited for his mystery opponent. Soon the lights went off and The ‘American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes music hits and after Six years Cody Rhodes returns to the WWE ring at WrestleMania 38.
The match started in a very professional manner. Both the superstars were not willing to lose. Seth Rollins kicked out from Cross-roads while Cody Rhodes kicked out from a pedigree. But soon Cody realizes Seth is not an easy opponent he delivered two cross-roads then Bionic elbow followed by again cross Roads to mark his pinfall victory over Seth freaking Rollins.

Charlotte Flair (c) vs Ronda Rousey (Smackdown women’s championship)
Both the superstars had taken it personally. As soon the bell rang they didn’t start wrestling but they started battling each other to destroy each other. Charlotte accidentally hits a spear on the referee and the referee falls down. While the referee was down Ronda Rousey grabbed Charlotte into an armbar and made her tap out. But that was of no use. As soon as Ronda Rousey wakes up the referee and turns around Charlotte hits a big boot on Ronda to retain her smackdown women’s championship via pinfall victory.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs Kevin Owens (No holds Barred Match)
It was the main event for the Day Wrestlemania 38. Kevin Owens had to interview Stone Cold. But Kevin revealed that he tricked Austin and challenged him for a No holds barred wrestling match which Austin accepted.
Austin and Owens were going toe to toe with each other. Austin kicked out from the stunner delivered by Owens. Owens tries to hit a chair shot on Austin but Austin dodges and the chair hits the rope and bounced back hitting Kevin Owens’s face. Taking advantage of the opening Austin hits a Stone cold stunner and takes a pinfall victory.
It has been 19 years since 2003 since Stone Cold was out of action and returned to Wrestlemania for a match. Also Stone Cold became the most aged wrestler to main event Wrestlemania.

Wrestlemania 2022 day 2 result
RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) (c) vs The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) vs Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis)
It was an entertaining match. All the superstars gave an outstanding performance. During the closing moments, Riddle hits an RKO from the top rope on Montez Ford. Also, Randy Orton counters and hits RKO on Flying Chad Gable and takes a pinfall victory to retain their Raw Tag Team Championship.

Bobby Lashley vs Omos
The powerhouse Bobby Lashley collides with the giant Omos. Initially, the match was in control of Omos and he was manhandling Bobby Lashley. But soon Lashley came back in the game and even tried for a hurt lock but Omos powered out.
Lashley somehow manages to lift Omos off his feet and deliver a vertical suplex. Followed by two spears one from the back and another from the front and took one of the biggest pinfall victories of his career.

Sami Zayn vs Johnny Knoxville
It was the most entertaining match of both the Wrestlemania nights. Sami Zayn started the match by connecting Helluva kick and then started punishing Johnny Knoxville. Zayn’s pace was stopped as Johnny Knoxville sprayed a fire extinguisher on Zayn’s face.
The tactics used by Johnny Knoxville made the match a full package of entertainment. Chris Pontius and Hornswoggle also got involved in the match. In the closing moments, the Jackass crew brings a giant mousetrap inside the ring. Knoxville put Zayn into the trap and took a pinfall victory to make his Wrestlemania moment.

Carmella and Queen Zelina (c) vs Naomi and Sasha Banks vs Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley vs Natalya and Shayna Baszler (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship)
Carmella and Rhea Ripley started the things but Carmella tagged Sasha Banks in. The match was good, there were many close counts. Every Diva superstar gave their best performance. In the end, it was Noami and Sasha Banks double-teaming on Carmella and taking a pinfall victory to become the new WWE women’s tag team champion.

Edge vs AJ Styles
While taking his entrance Aj Styles was already bleeding, it seems he hit the Wrestlemania sign during his entrance. Both the superstar’s Edge and Styles started the match and the crowd seems to be divided in half. Some were cheering for Edge while others were cheering for Styles. Both men gave a phenomenal match.
After delivering a Styles Clash, AJ went out for a phenomenal forearm but he was distracted by Damian Priest. These few seconds for distraction allowed Edge to counter Style’s forearm into a spear. Damian Priest and Edge together seem to celebrate after Edge’s pinfall victory.

Sheamus and Ridge Holland (with Butch) vs The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods)
Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston came out dressing like Big E to honor Big E who has been recovering from a broken neck. The new day was attacked by the opponent even before the bell rings. New Day somehow came back into the match but the damage had already been done.
Continued interference by Butch allowed Sheamus to deliver a Brogue to Kofi outside the ring. As the referee was again distracted by Butch, Sheamus again hits a Brogue Kick on Xavier woods and Ridge Holland took a pinfall victory over woods.
Winner : Sheamus and Ridge Holland
Pat McAfee vs Austin Theory (with Mr. McMahon)
McAfee started the match by delivering some right hand which stunned Austin Theory. However, Austin gained some momentum after he attacked McAfee on the throat. During the closing moments when Austine was about to deliver his finisher, Pat McAfee took a roll-over pinfall victory.
Winner : Pat McAfee
Mr. McMahon (with Austin Theory) vs Pat McAfee
As soon Pat McAfee finished his business with Austin Theory he called Mr. McMahon for a match and Vince entered the ring. Before the match could start Austin hit a cheap shot on McAfee from behind. When the match started Vince McMahon started delivering clotheslines on McAfee.
As soon as Pat McAfee regained his breath, the referee was distracted by Mcmahon and Theory pulled McAfee to both feet, hitting the pole between the legs. Then McMahon kicked a football on McAfee and took a pinfall victory.

Roman Reigns (Universal Champion) (with Paul Heyman) vs Brock Lesnar (WWE Champion)
The most awaited match of Wrestlemania 2022. Brock removes his UFC gloves and throws them away as a sign he is ready for a battle. Lesnar powers out Roman and delivers multiple suplexes. Roman quickly rolled out of the ring and Brock followed him outside. Brock being distracted by Paul Heyman allowed Roman Reigns to hit a spear on Brock through the barricade.
Lesnar managed to return the ring before the referee’s ten counts and Roman hit another spear which was good only for two counts. Roman started throwing superman punches but Brock was laughing. Brock dodged one of the superman punches and delivered four suplexes. As Brock was going for an F-5 Roman speared Brock into the referee. Taking advantage of the moment Roman first hits a lower blow and hits Brock’s head with the belt. But Lesnar kicked out before the three count.
As Brock was on his feet Roman hits the spear on the back and then again tries for another spear which Lesnar turned into the kimura lock. With the assistance of Paul Heyman who pushed the ropes inward, Roman was able to grab the ropes. Brock was going for another F-5 but Roman pushed Brock into the ropes and hit a final spear for three counts and became the unified WWE Universal champion.
