Sami Zayn didn’t use to appear in WWE Saudi’s events because of his background. Though Sami was born in Canada on 12th July 1984, his parents were Syrian immigrants who relocated to Quebec, Canada from Homs, Syria. The relationship between Saudi Arabia and Syria is not on good terms since December 2012 Syrian Civil war. That’s why Sami Zayn being a Syrian Muslim is banned to perform in Saudi Arabia.
