The Shield debuted in WWE on 18th November 2012 at the Survivor Series pay-per-view. The stable consists of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Since their debut, The Shield was undefeated in Six-man tag team matches for almost seven months. The Shield first lost was on 14th June 2013 in a match against Kane, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. On 2nd June 2014 after Seth Rollins’s betrayal, The Shield broke up.

Every single member won their first WWE championship by pinning another member of Shield
Seth Rollins on 29th March 2015 at Wrestlemania 31 pinned Roman Reigns to become the WWE world heavyweight champion. He cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and converted Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar (Champion) singles into a triple threat match.
Roman Reigns on 22nd November 2015 at Survivor Series pay per view pinned Dean Ambrose to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. In the tournament finale, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose faced each other for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship title.
Dean Ambrose on 19 June 2016 at Money in the Bank pay per view pinned Seth Rollins to win his first WWE world heavyweight championship. Seth after beating Roman Reigns became WWE world heavyweight champion. Three minutes later Dean Ambrose attacked Seth with his money in the Bank briefcase and chased it in which he had won on the same day.

On 19th June 2016, all the three members of the Shield won the WWE world heavyweight championship. On Money in the Bank pay per view, Dean Ambrose defeated Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn in a Money in the Bank contract ladder match.
Later that night Seth Rollins and Champion Roman Reigns were booked in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Seth defeated Roman in that match by turning Roman’s spear into a pedigree and then pinning him. WWE never had the plan to make Shield’s undefeated streak go so long. Originally WWE had a plan in which Shield had to suffer a loss in a six-man tag team match against John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback at the Elimination chamber on 17th February 2013. But it was Dean Ambrose who refused to lose and convinced the other two members also. Then all three-member told management that, if they lose so early the shield faction would lose the momentum. As a result, The Shield took a big win at Elimination Chamber.

CM Punk created the Shield
In 2012 CM Punk pitched an idea that he wanted to build a three members faction that would be together unstoppable. Vince McMahon and other WWE management like the concept presented by CM Punk. WWE picked Daniel Bryan and Big Show as the other two members of the Shield. But Cunk wanted Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as his teammates to which WWE refused the whole idea. But WWE never dropped this idea in reality.
At the end of 2012, WWE made the Shield’s debut against the same person who pitched the idea. On 18th November 2012 Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins along with third Shield member Roman Reigns attacked CM Punk, John Cena, and Ryback during their triple threat match.

Full form of Shield WWE
The initial wordings of the shield entrance music are self-recorded by the Shield member. The full form of the WWE Shield is “Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta” which are said by Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns respectively.
These are NATO phonetic alphabets. The NATO phonetic alphabet is the full form of the alphabet from A to Z which is worldwide accepted. It is used by the defense services of one country to communicate with another country.
